Our Story
From The Praying Soldier to CHAPO.
CHAPO was inspired by the founder’s experience serving in the United States Army and providing informal prayer and spiritual encouragement to fellow soldiers.
During his military service, he established an outreach known as The Praying Soldier, creating opportunities for service members to receive prayer, encouragement, and Christian fellowship.
Through these experiences, he recognized the need for a more accessible spiritual care network that could extend beyond a single military installation or geographical location. That vision became CHAPO.
What began as a personal commitment to pray with and encourage fellow soldiers is developing into a technology-enabled Christian spiritual care platform.
CHAPO is a project of Salute Yourself Initiative, an organization dedicated to serving military personnel and veterans.
From the barracks to the battlefield. From active duty to veteran life.
Wherever you serve, CHAPO is being built with you in mind.
